My thought has always been that they are going to wait to do their big publicity blitz until closer to the opening. Thus the site is still just a place-holder.

I like the design of the website even if it has no info at all!
I think it would be stupid to get a hype going this early because it will just fade before opening so yeah, I recon that's much what they're doing - wating!

The premier is still months away, so it's best to keep it quite untill next year when they get close to opening. But they can do a bit more with the website now, I think. Or maybe it's just me being so impatient.

Oooh! Oooh! femalefirst.co.uk has an interview with Sierra Boggess that has a couple Rebecca related questions on page 2 of the article. Here's just one of the questions: It's another very iconic role so have you started preparing for that - how has/will the book be influential in that preparation?
A little bit, we don’t start rehearsals until February, so I am taking a little bit at a time - but it does help that I have been involved since 2009.
She is an interesting character and I enjoy playing her, and I love movie - I have just started reading the novel; it’s a long novel (laughs) I will be through it by February. There's a lot of typos in that article.

Let's give her the benefit of the doubt and say it could be considered long if you're busy!
Must admit, now that things really seem to be moving I'm getting rather impatient!

I'm way too impatient now. We've been waiting so long. The deal with these American producers was made back in September 2008! Now that it's almost here it's just ... ;D
I suspect because of the PotO25 release we're getting a lot of extra Sierra interviews we probably wouldn't be getting now.

James Barbour as Jack Favell? Interesting... He doesn't really seem the type to me, but perhaps they've just casted that part differently this time. I don't really see him playing the part like Carsten Lepper. Barbour was a great Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre, so perhaps he could be a great Maxim?

A few things: The production in Stuttgart is still a little away but the St. Gallen production has opened and apparently "Wir sind Britisch" is out and "Zauberhaft natürlich" is in. "Zauberhaft natürlich" if you recall was in the Japanese production although Patrick Stanke sang it in German at a concert awhile back. Maxim sings the song to himself while he is watching "Ich" sketch near the beginning of the show. There appears to be a new ensemble number. In other news, it appears the B'way people are planning some sort of spectacle March 26 (the day before the first preview), probably in front of the theater and probably in the style of what was done in Stuttgart: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTurqA5_3Zk
