I've found someone who's uploaded the entire production onto youtube. I assume it's footage they shot themselves. Anyway, it's good quality and I would really recommend people have a look. I do think it's the best staging of the musical. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgF9hTw-xB0is part one Cast: Szereposztás: "Én" - Szinetár Dóra Maxim de Winter - Szabó P. Szilveszter Mrs. Danvers - Polyák Lilla Frank Crawley - Pálfalvy Attila Beatrice - Füredi Nikolett Jack Fawell - Bálint Ádám Mrs. Van Hopper - Szulák Andrea Ben - Pirgel Dávid Giles - Csuha Lajos Julyan ezredes - Jantyik Csaba Frith - Marik Péter Robert - Oláh Tibor Horridge - Péter Richárd Mrs. Rutherford - Arányi Adrienn

I have finally taken a proper look at this, and I agree, this staging is better than the German one. And it just hit me that Zoltán Bereczki could actually be a good Favell, couldn't he? Especially when I look at how he's protrayed in the Hungarian production. I can really see him in the role.

Yes, now you mention it. Favell is more the type of role he usually plays too. I do think it's interesting that he was cast as Maxim and must wonder how much of that choice was to get the chemistry between him and his wife who was playing the narrator?

I don't think he would normally be cast as Maxim. He's a good actor, and I am sure he did a good job, but he isn't really the right type.

What language are the subtitles in? (the one's above the stage)

Oh, English.
Apparently all musicals are in English and all operettas in German ^^
I have a very high quality recording of Zoltan Maxim and he is very good. Actually works in the role better than I would have thought but all the same I'm surprised they cast him.

I had to post this. It's the way she walks out on stage; straight away such power, presence and menace. Doubly impressive as it's a concert thing so she wont have a whole show to get in character.

Another with the new Mr and Mrs. I'm not keen on Homonnay Zsolt generally so I don't really want to comment on him (I wont be fair). He's not bad or anything but he's just never caught me... maybe I haven't forgiven his Paris Bernadette, however, goodness she's amazing!
