Heard anything about this musical?

This is going to sound extremely random, but has anyone hear heard any mention of Queer as Folk the musical? I confess to being a bit obsessed with this show (the UK version that is) and recently found out that there was apparently supposed to have been a musical version. Problem is, I can't find any info about it online. I know this probably means the project has been abandoned, but just in case I thought I'd ask here...

So, has anyone heard anything about it? Or does anyone know where I can find info about it? I've done a few basic internet searches but they've turned up nothing.
