According to the adverts prior concert there will be a cinematic release before it's released on DVD and BlueRay.

I somehow like the idea of LND on DVD since it's not likely many will get to see it unless they go to Australia. It did close in London, so a DVD is a good thing for those who didn't get to see it, like me. I would actually have liked to see it just once.

Hmm...
On the one hand I'm really excited about this. I was hoping to go see the show when it opened in New York, but that doesn't look like it's going to be happening now and even if it did I can't afford the trip. So a DVD would be the only way I (or my best friend, who is as fond of the soundtrack as I am) would get to see this show. So yay!
On the other hand I can't help wishing they'd filmed the London version instead. After all that is the cast I've become fond of... still, beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
Either way I'm so buying this when it eventually comes out. Best start saving up now...

Yeah, I'm interested that they didn't film the London version. Maybe they decided to do it too late (soon before it closed, I dunno) because you would think they would play of the epic cast they had in London.
