This time, it's Rebecca that is drawing to a close. For my next project I will subtitle either Mozart of Marie Antoinette. Please vote for the one you would like me to do! I have footage of both but will need to buy the libretto of the one I will subtitle which I plan to do in February. Old opening post from March '11: Okay, Elisabeth is drawing to a close and I have no plans for what to do next so I'd like your ideas. - I'm hoping to do a full musical from either French or German into English.
- I don't want to subtitle something that someone's already done - that's a bit rude even if the subs are awful If some songs have been done then that's okay though.
- I will do some songs rather than an entire musical. If someone's already done that song but with different actors etc then I will subtitle a different version
I think that's it. Oh, I'll also need to get the footage so if you can help with that in any way then do post, contact etc. <3

I know a good one. I believe someone tried to translate this musical for subs before but it seems abandon. I stumbled across this show back in January and fell in love! If subs could be done on this show I'd be grateful! Truly! Title: Don Juan Composer: Felix Gray Country of Origin: Canada Language: French Also, it doesn't help that I have a total crush on the actor who plays Don Juan! He's beautiful vocally and physically! Oh, and here is a favorite of mine from the show: Show lyrics!

I really like Don Juan and would definitely look at doing that - really good suggestion, thank you <3
Rebecca would be hard due to getting footage. It's still a possibility that I do the songs without video as I own them though!

Thank you so much for subbing Elisabeth, its become my favourite musical in the last month. ;D I'd love if you could subtitle Rudolf: Affaire Mayerling next as I just started listening to it a few days ago and it sounds amazing. I know theres already an English demo but the original is so much better. Thanks ps, or if you found a good recording of the essen version of elisabeth you could transfer your subs to it. I have yet to find a good quality recording of wenn ich tanzen will from that show and it has to be one of my favourite songs. Thanks

Okay, for now I'm going to have a go with Rebecca. I will do it in a similar manner to how I did the bonus Elisabeth song unless anyone can find full footage?
I am still looking for something to sub in full so keep ideas coming!

I like the idea of Don Juan---the footage on Youtube is amazing! I hope you will do that! Oh, by the way I just watched the last part of Elisabeth---I had a very bittersweet moment. :\ -sigh-

Yes, it was bittersweet for me too. I'd really like to do Don Juan. The only thing making me double think is that the person who did part one (ages ago) is a subscriber of mine and would quite often comment on the Elisabeth stuff and was ever so supportive. Maybe I'm being too moral!

YEEEESSSS, a fellow agreer! Don Jun!!! ¢¾¢¾¢¾
Oh, darnit, the one who attempted the sub is Havanah's subscriber? Darn! I've always been tempted to ask the person if they are planning to continue. I think I will and keep you updated.
More translation suggestions: Sherazade: Les Mille Et Une Nuits (I'm not too sure if there is footage ); Cleopatre; I was going to suggest 3 Musketiers (but it's Dutch); Le roi soleil (I've seen the DVD once---very good.) and Abydos.

I'm thinking about doing Don Juan anyway as they've only done part one (ages ago) and don't have it on their list of projects on their profile. I shall have a look at your other suggestions too!
I believe that there is a translation of the Dutch 3 Musketiers hanging around on youtube if you wanted to have a look at that.
