I'm listening through this at the moment for the first time. There are so many songs that have hints of other Kunze/Levay songs in them, its amazing.

I've only had a little flick through but I think it is the OC... was there more than one case in its run? I don't know for sure, but I think there was only one cast as it only had a short run. I do know that Marion Furtner went on as Margrid a few times. I'm listening through this at the moment for the first time. There are so many songs that have hints of other Kunze/Levay songs in them, its amazing. Have you heard the demo Wenn ich tanz?

There's a new Tecklenburg production (which I believe opened a couple of days ago) which should be quite interesting. The trailer was uploaded yesterday and it looks like it's going to be a really lush production. The official photo gallery www.buehne-tecklenburg.de/marie-antoinette/marie-antoinette-fotogalerie.htmlApparently there have been cuts made as well as songs added which hopefully will tighten up the production a bit. "Es ist nicht so" and "Wenn Wölfe heulen" are supposed to be the songs for Cagliostro and "Ich bin etwas wert" for Margrid. Existing songs have apparently been edited. As of yet, I can't find any of the new/revised songs. Can't wait to see more about this... very excited. Just wish I could actually see it!

Cool! I'd love to hear the changes. This show does need some tightening but the concept is just wonderful.
And it looks like that production has both Patrick and Sabrina.

Yeah, I'm really excited about the changes. I feel that this could be a musical that really does take off (globally) if they work hard enough at revising it. The concept is great, the first attempt (obviously ignoring the Japanese ones) was good... next stop perfection... maybe Certainly, the story will capture people and if it could make a full run then I think it would become popular. We could also do with a full CD.
