I might try to go. I'd like to but my parents aren't so into Phantom so it's harder for me to do so...
Edit: just tried to see how much seats are/how many there are etc and I have been placed in a queue. I'm number 1435 in this queue. I don't stand a chance XD

Double posting Havanah here.
I didn't get any tickets (surprise surprise) but I did join the mailing list.
Got an email today saying this: "Thank you for registering your interest in the Phantom of the Opera Concert.
We are delighted to give you advance notice that on Tuesday 2nd August at 9am, a very limited number of tickets will be released to the public on a first come, first served basis. As before, you can purchase these via phantom25th.com.
Should you not be able to get tickets on this date, don’t worry, there may be further opportunities in the future and, as you have signed up with us, you will get advance notice of this."
I don't think I'm going to try and get tickets. I'd love to go but I think there are other people who'd love to go even more and I'd feel bad taking their chance. Debating it though. Of course, that's from the optimistic view point that I would manage to get a ticket!
Just thought I'd share that in case people were interested.

The strangest thing happened when we were there. In the scene where the Phantom drops something on Carlotta when she sings Think of Me, the sound somehow messed up and played some kind of pop/rock song. So awkward, even though it was only a few seconds, then the right sound was back on.

I didn't notice that 0.o
I know that Christine's mic gave quite a bit of feedback at times (took me so long to work out who's mic was doing that) but it hardly noticed so!
It was FANTASTIC! <3 Can't wait to see it all again on DVD

I can't wait to get the DVD!!! Did anyone else think that Raoul was amazing. He's usually such a 1-dimensional character, but in this he was AMAZING!!

Lol, my thoughts exactly! Hopefully it airs on American TV sooner than the Les Mis concert did- it'll be awhile 'til I can afford the DVD. Mind you, I've already splurged a bit and pre-ordered the CD. *zooms in on empty wallet* Opps...
